The firm of C J Giles was established in 1986 by Charles Giles operating from premises at 63 Peach Street, Wokingham. The office was previously the practice of Burke and Co. until they joined Star Legal in 2013.

Our Star Legal Clevedon office is overseen by Hannah Kenward, who is very well known in North Somerset for her conveyancing practice. Hannah’s team of lawyers provide an extensive service for individuals, including residential and commercial property, wills and trusts, probate and lasting power of attorney. For our business clients we can advise on a range of commercial property matters including landlord and tenant and general litigation.  Previously the head office of the well known practice of Lindley Johnstone solicitors, both the Clevedon and Bristol offices of Lindley’s joined Star Legal in 2015.

The head office of Star Legal solicitors is located in the picturesque suburb of Clifton, Bristol and oversees all the branches of the firm. This Bristol office is jointly managed and directed by Ian Foster and Philip Hands. Ian is a corporate and commercial lawyer, with a wide range of experience regarding mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and reorganisations. Philip is a ligation lawyer who specialises in various areas of disputes and civil fraud.  The Clifton conveyancing team provide a personal specialist service covering all aspects of residential property transactions.
