A vacancy has arisen in our Chepstow office for an experienced family solicitor to assist with a varied existing caseload on a fixed term, part time contract for 10 months. The role will commence on 3 January 2019 ending 31 October 2019. The hours are 9.30am-3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
We are looking for solicitor who has excellent advocacy and drafting skills. It is essential that you possess rounded client service skills and you must be able to empathise with a wide range of clients in order to resolve the most sensitive and complicated practicalities involved in family break-ups. Of particular importance will be organisational and communication skills. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
You will need to have good IT skills and should be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of applications. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent client care.

We have an exciting opportunity for a junior private client lawyer to join our Bradley Stoke office.
We are looking for a talented lawyer with 2-3+ years’ PQE, who wants to progress their career by moving to an exciting and expanding regional firm. The role will bring a varied and interesting workload which includes assisting the Private Client team in dealing with probates, and preparing wills and lasting powers of attorney. The successful candidate will be a team player, who is confident, friendly and professional in dealing with clients.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about developing their skills and experience in Private Client law, is keen to learn, and has an excellent grounding in this area of practice. For our part, we will be committed to developing your expertise in this area, and we are a friendly and approachable team to work with. Being STEP qualified (or part-qualified) would be an advantage, but is not essential, and this is something we would look at as your career with us progresses.
Terms will be commensurate with the role and experience. The position is available on either a salaried or consultancy basis.
