About Mandy
Experience
Mandy has worked in Mental Health Law since 2012, representing those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. Mandy has experience in representing clients of all ages in both civil and forensic settings. Mandy also represents clients who are under Guardianship Orders and Community Treatment Orders.
She represents clients at Care Programme Approach meetings / s.117 aftercare, Hospital Managers Meetings and Mental Health Tribunals.
Background
Mandy is an accredited member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel.
Mandy completed her LLB Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University followed by her LPC at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, on a part time basis whilst starting her career in Mental Health Law. She qualified as a solicitor in 2017.
