Experience:
Debbie is a Costs Lawyer specialising in Court of Protection welfare, Private and Public Law Family, lower crime and Mental Health. She also has experience with Court of Protection and Family Legal Aid high costs case plans.
Background:
Debbie joined Star Legal in June 2020 in a dual role of assistant to the Office Manager and Legal Aid Billing Co-Ordinator. In June 2022 Debbie became a Legal Aid Billing Co-Oridnator for the Family, Court of Protection and Mental Health departments of Star Legal. Debbie began undertaking costs drafting for the family team whilst continuing her role as Legal Aid Billing Co-Ordinator, moving to solely cost drafting for the firm in March 2025, qualifying as a Costs Lawyer following completion of her exams in August 2025
In her spare time Debbie enjoys travelling Europe, playing the violin and reading.
