About Chris
Experience
Chris specialises in Children Law, and has practiced in the Black Country and West Midlands courts as a member of the Law Society Children Panel for over 22 years. He has wide experience of acting for children, parents, other family members, and local authorities in all types of family public law matters, such as care proceedings, placement order applications, adoption, secure accommodation and Deprivation of Liberty matters, and special guardianship orders.
In his spare time he enjoys fell walking, watching football, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Background
Chris obtained a degree in History and English Literature from the University of Leeds, before obtaining his post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Northumbria.
He was admitted as a solicitor in 1995 and spent the first part of his career with firms in Carlisle before moving to the West Midlands.
