About Thomas
Thomas qualified into the firm’s Corporate and Commercial department following completion of his training contract in March 2026. Thomas has a range of experience assisting in transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts and share buybacks. He has also assisted with non-transactional matters such as internal reorganisations, articles of association, shareholders’ agreements and general corporate and commercial matters.
Thomas’ recent experience includes assisting the team with:
- a management buyout of a heating and plumbing business in the engineering sector in excess of £1 million;
- the disposal of a group accountancy business in excess of £4 million;
- the acquisitions by a wealth management client of two further practices for a combined multi-million sum;
- an internal reorganisation and carve out followed by a subsequent disposal by the founders of their company in excess of £0.5 million;
- an asset sale by the founders of a Bristol based Mexican and Spanish inspired sauce and marinade manufacturer;
- a business and asset disposal by a branding and design agency to a larger, regional agency specialising in digital marketing for law firms;
- various extensive corporate capital history and historic statutory register reviews, including identification of issues, advising clients on their implications and implementing efficient solutions.
