About Stephen
Experience
Stephen is the Head of our Wills and Probate team in Aldridge and advises in relation to all aspects of preparing your Will and Estate planning. In 2014 he received a national award recognising his outstanding contribution to the leading children's charity Barnardo’s through their Will scheme. Care home fees and social funding are an increasing worry for many people and Stephen can advise on how to protect assets and the creation of Trusts.
Stephen acts for Executors and Personal Representatives in the administration of Estates and is particularly skilled in dealing with complex matters.
Stephen also deals with applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney in relation to both property and finance and health and care. He has experience of acting in the Court of Protection regarding applications for Financial Deputyship.
Background
Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and joined CMHT Solicitors (now part of Star Legal) shortly afterwards. He has over 20 years’ experience as a family Solicitor and specialises in private client work and elderly client care.
