Experience
Richard runs the Abergavenny office. He is a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and specialises in Wills, Estates, Tax Planning and Trusts. Richard also undertakes Corporate and Commercial work.
Areas in which he specialises include:-
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection applications and matters arising from loss of mental capacity, including applications for Deputyship appointments
- Tax planning and trusts
- Probate and the Administration of Estates.
Richard has wide experience and particular expertise in setting up and administering family trusts.
Background
Richard read archaeology at Newcastle University. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1999 and spent the first part of his career with Burges Salmon in Bristol and, more recently, practised with Gabb & Co in Abergavenny.
