Supporting Our Local Communities: Charity Fundraising Update
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting charitable causes throughout the year, we’re thrilled to share the progress we’ve made so far in raising money for those in need. This year, we’ve managed to raise a total of £261.21 for various causes.
Here’s a quick rundown of the key fundraising events we’ve hosted so far:
In Walsall and Aldridge, we’ve held multiple dress down days, alongside our annual Christmas raffle. These events raised a fantastic £160.60, all of which will be donated to Samaritans (Walsall & District). The funds will go directly to supporting their crucial work in helping individuals who are facing mental health crises in our local community. We’re proud to contribute to such an important cause that provides a lifeline to so many in need.
We also hosted a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and contributed, we raised £100.61 for Macmillan. The donation has already been made and will go towards supporting those affected by cancer, providing much-needed care, support, and resources during some of the most challenging times in people’s lives.
Next week, we’ll be hosting our annual Christmas Jumper Day, and we’re excited to continue the festive fundraising tradition. We hope to add even more to our total to make this season a little brighter for those who need it most.
