George is a property specialist with great experience. Best known for his work for investors and developers of commercial property, he has also acted on numerous transactions involving agricultural and high value residential properties.
George read law at Nottingham University. Upon qualification, he initially worked as legal and parliamentary advisor to the Country Landowners Association.
From there he moved to the City firm of Cameron Markby Hewitt, where he was a partner for 10 years from 1988. In 1998 he moved to be a partner at DAC Beachcroft. There he worked on many retail and commercial developments, public sector projects (in the health, local authority and education sectors) and on sales of development land.
In collaboration with the University of the West of England he designed a unique award winning training programme for property lawyers, the UWE Diploma in Commercial Property. George is now a Consultant Solicitor with Star Legal where he continues to act for a wide range of property clients across all those sectors in which he has experience, having recently completed projects in the health sector together with a range of commercial investments and developments and farm transactions.
