Those who are concerned for themselves or a relative, about becoming infirm or incapacitated, will need to consider the steps to be taken to ensure the proper continuing management of their affairs, assets and property.
Relatives of an incapacitated person will not normally be able to manage or administer their affairs unless they have been authorised to do so. This authority can be obtained either by the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney where the Donor retains capacity or by an application to the Court of Protection to be appointed as a Deputy. We can assist with any of these requirements.
