Court Martial

Court Martial

Court Martial is an independent court with similar sentencing powers and proceedings as the civilian Crown Court. A court martial is convened when a member of the armed forces commits an offence that cannot be dealt with by their commanding officer or in the civilian courts. These types of cases cannot be settled in a civilian court as the accused must be tried under military law.

If you are a member of the armed services and are under investigation or accused of a military offence, one of our criminal defence solicitors can assist you by proving specialist legal advice.
